Bright Saturday indeed! What a grand day for a ride. Rain Gods were good to me and I dipsy-doodled my way around Olympic Village to Granville Bridge and then to Kits Point for more of the same until I hit the Foreshore Hill with 51 km on the clock. Easy-peasey from there as one loop of the infamous Imperial/Camosun/Marine circuit and a few small dipsy-doodles when back on campus to take me to Chancellor and then a few dipsy-doodles around Little Australia before it was Heartbreak Terrace Time!
Cora Lee tried a new recipe, Duck,
(Canard), a l'Orange for this evening's dinner. It is baked on a bed of
carrots and orange slices, in sherry! She served it with large boiled,
white potatoes and a bocconcini/tomatoe/fresh basil salad. For dessert, a chocolate cake from Lemon Aid, gluten free, which was spectacular. She
had invited Ariel and Hugh, Doug and David, friends from church circles.
I first met Doug at the UBC Aquatic Centre as he worked in the Faculty
of Medicine and we both used pool. He and David started attending
Trinity due to its all-inclusive mandate. At any rate, a lovely evening
with lovely, lovely people.

Hi Rockford Files Man! Looking forward to them! Hello to T/T. Cheers, Patrizzio!
