Hello again, "Mother" Kathryn! Now that Mme Coriandre has been able to buy her VWF tickets, online, she'll have time to sign-up for volunteer duties. That being said, not much time here in Penticton so we really need a stint in Vancouver to relax! Very busy, productive day here, yesterday. Hope all is going swimmingly with pre-Fest activities. Hi Everybody: A suggestion was made that we could go where we have never been, to the N end of Mt Keogan, starting from the pump house on Green Lake Rd. It will be a moderate hike, 4 hrs max. · Meet at the usual place, Pent. HH at 8:00 · Summerlanders at 7:40 at IGA · Carpool and drive through OK Falls to the trail head · Hike, explore, enjoy · Back by 1-2 pm, coffee at a place of our choice. Spent most of the morning trying to apply for our Tourist Visas for India. Very frustrating as system kept timing out and even with a number that allowed one to return to the saved form it was impossible to repopulate certain fields! Did it about five times before I was able to complete my application and then was unable to print the PDF file. (Need Ragin' to trouble shoot this so will ask him to bring all his various task hats and reading spectacles!) Peter had no trouble printing them out bu the has some super-duper Adobe system he needs for his consulting work.)
Around 2:00 pm Rona called and the medicine cabinet we had ordered arrived so we popped down to store to pick it up. Once home spent the rest of what remained of the afternoon putting it in place. Took a bit longer than when we installed the first one in our bathroom and the one, slightly smaller, in guest bathroom as I replaced the mirror covering a recessed medicine cabinet with a large native print. Was able to use the same screws and hinges that held the mirror in place so pleased about that.
