Patriotism is proud of a country's virtues and eager to correct its
deficiencies; it also acknowledges the legitimate patriotism of other
countries, with their own specific virtues. The pride of nationalism,
however, trumpets its country's virtues and denies
its deficiencies, while it is contemptuous toward the virtues of other
countries. It wants to be, and proclaims itself to be, "the greatest",
but greatness is not required of a country; only goodness is. -Sydney J.

Hi Lovebirds! Grand picture! Are you on your honeymoon? Glad to see that you are keeping warm with ski jackets rather than Laphroig!!!
Busy time here this past weekend. Replacing a window in "your" bedroom and also constructed a work-bench. I'm giving Ragin' the morning off as I'm going hiking to Skaha Bluffs until about 1:00 pm. Will finish window installation when I return and then start planning garage shelving with a mind to having Stage One attached to walls by the time The Lovebirds arrive! Enjoy your time in Banff. Travel safely. Certainly looking forward to seeing you both. Fondestos from Lady Mary, still abed. Cheers, Patrizzio! Pics: Tailgate Bash!

Good looking men! Ciao, Aarturo |
Hi Patricio, Great shots, you are slowly turning into the Royal Old Fart photographer!
Will try to download several. Are they full size? You missed a great hike today, did not go into the canyon, judged too cold to swim, but instead did a steep hike up the rim of the canyon to the top of Eagle Bluff (i think). Have fun with your visitors. By the way ... your house had a very acceptable mess! I liked it a lot! Cheers, Aarturo
