Lady Mary Return Blues: Monday, July 27th!

Euphemism is a euphemism for lying. -Bobbie Gentry, singer and songwriter (b. 27 Jul 1944)

Hello Texas Tornadoes! Trust everyone is well. When can we expect a visit? Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Good Morning Patrick & Corinne, We have received notice that a home inspection has been ordered by Optimum West for the above noted location. Please be advised that a representative from Risk Management Services will be in contact with you to arrange a home inspection in the next few days. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office. Regards, Kaitlyn Hi Kaitlyn! Fine with us. Thanks for letting us know. We'll be home. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Patrizzia and David! Trust you are both well! Sorry I've not been in touch sooner but has been a very, very busy last few weeks. In the main, loads of visitors and obligatory rides! In that vein, wanted to thank you both, so much, for your generous support of my GranFondo ride. Just had a note from Chloë this morning and she informed me that, to date, with help from people such as yourselves, I've managed to raise $880. Might even top $1,000 as there are a few other friends who have indicated they would like to support Aunt Leah's. Again, thank you!

In spite of the fact that I had been left an enormous list of chores to complete while Mme Coriandre was doing the rounds of the galleries, restaurants and other tourist spots in The Big Apple, I've managed some decent rides in attempt to dispel my heartbroken loneliness!
Again, trust all goes well with you both! Hello to everyone at winery and look forward to your next visit. However, I imagine we will be south before you venture north as we will probably drive to LA for Christmas. Nevertheless, you are always welcome here, anytime! Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Pics: Denise and Bill, [They were at the bbq at our place when you were visiting.], Friday night at the cabin they rented from Deep Roots, in Naramata, 20 minutes away; Jake; Virginia and Jake in our living room. Virginia is from Mexico and she recognized mask; Dinner on patio and Farewell at front of house! Finish of GranFondo, knocked off 40 minutes from last year's time, primarily as day was wonderfully cool, 21º-25º C, as opposed to 34º-38º C, a year ago.

Hi Janet! Trust you are well! Wanted to thank you, so much, for your generous support of my GranFondo ride. Furthermore, I wanted to thank you for taking pictures at our Farewell Bash! Much appreciated. I had hoped to give you a call when I was in Vancouver over the Folk Fest weekend, (We drove in earlier in week as Cora Lee flew to NY on Thursday.), but I simply ran out of time. Finally, Belated Happy Birthday. Hip Hip Hooray!! For She's a Jolly Good Fellow!! Hip Hip Hooray!!! If you have a chance to visit Penticton over the rest of the summer we'll celebrate then. You are always welcome. Again, trust all goes well with you. Fondestos, Patrizzio!

Hello Virginia and Jake! Thanks for popping by on Saturday. Still shaking my head at how we reconnected!

Thanks for inviting me to join you on this week's coming hike. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do so and will be delighted to mix with some of your fellow hikers and get to know more about the surrounding landscape. If you could remind me of time group will meet at Rona, on Thursday, I'd appreciate it.

Corinne will be arriving at 7:00 pm, by bus, this evening, so must away as I've a few errands to run before I collect her. All the best. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Pat - We are doing well.  Gregg has round 4 chemo July 31 and Aug 7. Surgery set for Sept 15.  He’s still hoping for a miracle cure but nothing so far. He’s in quite good spirits but it’s hard dealing with changes that will be with you for the rest of your life.   He’s keeping busy with golf & ball & our social life.  Not sleeping well is frustrating.  It’s hot here today and due to be so for the rest of the week.  At least we have the ocean breeze.  Will let you know if we plan on OK swing.  LOL F and G

Hi Lurch and Grog! Thanks for the update. Onward! Fight!! Before I go any further, thank you, so much, for your generous support of my GranFondo ride. Again, Buona Fortuna with coming treatments. Trust everything goes extremely well. Will give you a shout when Mme Coriandre is back and caught her breath. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!

Pics: Wild Bill on the patio of their rented cabin at Deep Roots, this past Thursday. Sad to report that the has been suffering with terrible, terrible back problems, ever since January of this year, in fact. So bad that he is in pain all the time and only has some relief when sitting, as standing is agony.

Hi Kids! You will notice that I neglected to delete a paragraph intended for someone else. My attention must have flagged as I was watching a recorded session of the very exciting second to last stage of the Tour! Cheers, Dope Patrizzio!

Patrick James Dunn Joan Woodbury Hi Joan! Trust you are well. Not sure if you knew but we moved to Penticton at the end of May. Shortly thereafter we drove to Winnipeg to celebrate Corinne's parent's 70th wedding anniversary. Even attended my Daniel McIntyre home-room class' 50th reunion! This past Friday I had a phone call from Erika Kinn.[ Did you know her?] She owns a B&B in Summerland and at the reunion we made plans to get together when she and her daughter, Amy, were out for the summer. Anyway, we had a great chat and will arrange a visit when Mme Coriandre returns from New York. She has been there for last ten days. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Joan Woodbury Hi Patrizzio ! Good to hear from you! Don't know Erika Kinn. Sounds like you're enjoying Penticton now .. and the Wpg trip was fun! Patrick James Dunn Just collected Cora Lee from bus station. Her trip to NY was a dream so pleased she had such a wonderful time. Have her back in reality now as she is doing yellow zucchini on bbq for dinner. Erika, fairly obviously, is on far right! Keep in mind it was 50 years ago that we were together at Daniel!

Here is the list as of today, David and Nancy gave me a cheque last night, and if you haven’t already, send Elaine the link because she mentioned when you were staying there that she wanted to support you!! I gave Mom your pillow. xx
Chloë

Hi Elaine! Trust you are well and Ted has learned how to load the dishwasher. I certainly miss his morning coffee so I shouldn't be too, too hard on him. Thanks again for washing my pillowcase. However, I was a tad disappointed not to find it stuffed with biscuits! Again, thanks. Above and beyond! Great to have Lady Mary back! Whip is cracking already! Trust all goes well with your busy lives. Take time out and come for a visit. We'd love to see you here. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!
Cora Lee was back just after 7:00 pm. I was waiting, at the bus depot, with a red carpet! After she opened all her mail and had a quick shower I put her to work doing yellow zucchini on bbq. I'd readied chicken with kartofellage in frying pan, diced garlic from Peter's garden and oniones, as well as sliced pork, garnished with green onions and radish, and made a yellow watermelon salad with Feta and fresh mint from her herb garden. We celebrated her wonderful trip and our loving reunion with a 2014 Marichel Viognier, Naramata, 14.0% and a 2013 Black Widow, Naramata, 13.9%, while we ate and sipped, watching two episodes of Homeland, in The Rumpus Room, before Ms Manhattan was ready for bed. Great to have Lady Mary back! Whip is cracking already!
